Mission
Mundari Samaj is a digital platform dedicated to preserving, documenting, promoting and sharing the Mundari language and the histories, cultures, traditions and knowledge of Munda communities. It helps community members, learners, researchers, educators, students and interested visitors discover reliable information about the Mundari language, regional histories, festivals, cultural practices, traditional knowledge, literature and contemporary community life. It is a cultural and educational platform — not a political campaign or a commercial directory — and it does not claim to speak on behalf of every Munda person.
Editorial & Verification Policy
We never invent historical facts, dates, population figures, quotations, translations, rituals or linguistic explanations. Claims are checked against academic publications, books, archives, government publications, recognised institutions and first-hand community testimony. Documented facts, scholarly interpretations, oral histories and community accounts are labelled as such. Mundari spellings and translations must be checked by competent native speakers. Unverified material is marked “Research in progress”. AI-assisted drafts are checked by knowledgeable people before publication. Sacred, restricted or private knowledge is not published without appropriate permission, and identifiable photographs, interviews and recordings require informed permission and credit.
Corrections
Found an error, a regional variation we should record, or material that should be corrected or removed? Write to mundarisamaj@outlook.com with the page link and the correction. Corrections and removal requests are reviewed and honoured.
Privacy
This is a static website: it has no user accounts, no database and no tracking forms. The contribution form opens your own email app addressed to us — nothing is stored by this website. We do not collect unnecessary personal data and never publish private contact details or precise home locations.
